Former vice president Dick Cheney recently received a new heart pump. His doctors say the new heart pump is just the first step in replacing his old heart, which was clogged with compassion and empathy.

She may be 90 years old, but Helen Thomas, the former United Press International reporter who resigned last year after saying Jews should "get the hell out of Palestine," has a new job. Thomas will be writing a weekly column for the News-Press of Falls Church, Virginia, where she will undoubtedly tell children to get off her lawn and Jews to get out of Palestine.

The Congressional Budget Office reports that repealing Obama's overhaul of health care would add $230 billion to the deficit. Speaker of the House John Boehner said, "Obama's bill will kill jobs and the economy. Clearly, we don't care about the economy... or people, but we have to save jobs."

The notorious report that first claimed to link vaccines to autism was “an elaborate fraud,” according to the British Medical Journal. In a related story, Jenny McCarthy is teaming up with Helen Thomas to blame the Jews for her child's autism.

Defense Secretary Robert Gates has decided to send an additional 1,400 Marine combat forces to Afghanistan to bolster U.S. troops ahead of a possible spring offensive by Taliban fighters returning from hideouts in Pakistan. When reached for comment Gates said, "The Taliban is determined to keep us out of their backyard, I know because I just watched Restrepo."
